Should I install these Dell updates? They're not critical so how important are they?

The Smart Byte Application is really not necessary and is listed as Optional, meaning not required. I would ignore that one but the others, two driver updates are ones I would take and the Help & Support Application certainly can be of help if you need it.

I agree with Judy, but I would like to know what the Smart Byte application is, have you clicked on the more information icon (the blue circle with the i in it)to see what it is? It might be something useful.
