HP Pavilion P6616F/ Window 10 Home 64 bit/Firefox / Window Defender Fire Wall/ Super Anti Spyware/ Malwarebytes/ SpywareBlaster/ CCleaner
I had Avira Antivirus on my computer and wanted to remove it and use Window Defender after reading one of the posts. I was able to remove Avira Antivirus, but when I hit start it still shows up there and also in the lower right hand corner on that bar. When I click on it, it only shows Get Pro, Register and listings that I can install (although I would like that removed also.)
I noticed I have Avira Browser Safety listed form 2016 but when I try to uninstall it says OP incompatibility, then shows Do you want this app to make changes to your device. If I say yes or no get same response of going back to uninstall. And nothing happens. Figured I should remove anything from avira before activating Defender AV. So can you help me do that and then get defender either installed or running? Please explain in detail as I’m so confused I can’t remember how to find anything.
