My old HP has bit the dust. Would not even turn on. Got a new HP ENVY from Best Buy and had them transfer files, etc. BUT, didn't get--email addys or FF bookmarks. Any ideas?
Going now to download Essential tools.

What Essential Tools are those? If you don't have a paper copy or backup copy of email addresses and Firefox bookmarks I don't believe there is much you can do on those two fronts.

I do have a paper copy of passwords. In fact, that's how I found this forum again. I could not recall the name!

Was the old computer backed up, if so the backup may have the bookmards and emails on it. Do you have access to the old hard drive? |

I have backups on an external drive.I was able to find about 2 bookmarks from there.
Do you have access to the old hard drive? Yes, I still have the old puter.

That's one way. Once the hard drive is removed from the old computer you could add it to the new computer. I have an EZ Dock I put the old hard drive into, connect it a USB port and now you have an external drive.
