Free Office www.freeoffice.com/en/freeoffice and Libre Office www.libreoffice.org/discover/libreoffice/are both worth looking at. I have both and prefer Free Office but have to say I mainly use only the word processors in both. Someone that uses Speadsheets etc frequently may be able to offer more advice in that area. Free Office is smaller (111MB) than Libre (302MB)

Thanks Char If you read the information on each link fully you will see that all of them do. You need to research each one, of course there isn't any reason you can't download all three and try them out. Each person has their favorites and the choice has to be yours. You said that you were having problems with your Microsoft Program. What version do you have? What problems are you having with the Excel portion? If you have the install disks for your Microsoft Office you could uninstall it and reinstall it. It makes things easier if you have the install disks and it also depends on how old a version it is.

I have Microsoft Office Home & Student 2007 Have Disks (but used the 3 Home PC Licenses on 3 computers they allow)
Also have Microsoft office starter 2010 (No Disks) This is the one that has problems. Some calculations are off by a few cents and when I brought up a spreadsheet from 2019 it added a section to the left with numbers 1-6 across the top before starting ABC with weird stuff down that section.
This is why I figure I may need to get a free office suite and just start working with that.

I have done that before without any problem. Plus, 2007 has reached the end of support so it wouldn't receive updates so you might now even have to register it. Just an idea
