Help to set up time to download updates

Can you please tell me how to set my computer so windows updates would download and install between 2 am & 8 am. Will it tell me when updates are there so I would leave the computer on all night.

I don't think it is possible to prevent Windows Updates from downloading.

You may want to set your connection as "Metered" to reduce data usage.

Click on your connection icon in the notification area. In the window that appears click again on your connection at the top of the right pane.

From here another window will open where you can turn on ' Metered Connection' and you can also set a set a data limit for it.
