Was just wondering if there would be a time limit set for editing or deleting a thread or post like WS had?

I know the last time I used ProBoards, there was a built-in time limit. I "think" it was an hour. But that's several years ago... it may have changed or my memory may not be that reliable. Let's go with the former.

The Admins will be able to let us know if there is a time limit. Some things very likely are set by ProBoards not by each board.

I just checked, evidently there IS a time limit to edit or delete. I just tried to edit or delete this post and received the message "Sorry Time Is Up" I think it had been approximately one hour since that post.

DocSheldon is correct, there is a ProBoard built in time limit to edit/delete your post. However the ProBoard Term Of Service minimum time allowed is not one hour, it is 5 minutes, this is to ensure that any poster has a chance to remove or edit their post. This is a ProBoard Term Of Service requirement and cannot be removed or reduced but can be increased. Therefore time has been increased to One Hour to give members the one hour time limit they are used to having. If for some reason a post edit is needed after that time period then you must contact a mod to do so. The total deletion of a thread after that one hour can only be done by an Admin and for a very good reason only, not just because you want to do it.
