This is a small version of a collage I made for a photo site I thought I would share with you.
The 49 flowers are to honour the 49 people who were murdered here in NZ on 15.03.19.
Shot in the back as they knelt to pray, by an evil murderer who had planned this for a long time.
Our country is in shock and mourning and the realizaton that being a small country at the bottom of the world surrounded by sea is no protection from vile evil acts of terror.
This happened in the same city (Christchurch) that suffered so terribly from the earthquakes.
I made all the flowers the same, just different sizes.
We are all part of the human family, it is only our own perceptions that separate us.
The youngest victim was just 2 years old and is still fighting for his life. 37 others are still in hospital, 11 of them critical.
The murderer is caught and has appeared in court and now awaits trial.
May he rot in hell.
