How do I import my contacts from my Win10 desktop to whatsApp on my iPhone. I should installed them when I installed the app.
What I am trying to do is send a short video from watsapp and this is also baffling me.
Is WhatsApp safe?

WhatsApp Can identify which of your iPhone contacts Have it installed. Both parties must have the app installed. Phones do not have to be the same brand. If the contact you want to communicate with is not in your iPhone contacts you will have to add them. This link should help faq.whatsapp.com/en/iphone/20910703If you are new to WhatsApp take a look at the FAQ as well. These are instructions for sending a video or photo faq.whatsapp.com/en/iphone/20964587/?category=5245251My opinion is that it is safe. I have used it for several years with no problems.

Thank you for the info. I will check the links and see if I can make sense out of it later. I believe that I had the opportunity to enter my contacts when I installed WatsApp but declined. Is there a way to enter them all now?

Your WhatsApp contacts are found in your phone address book. It recognises which of them have WhatsApp. If they don’t you will have to ask them to instal it if you want to communicate with them. You do not add the contacts to WhatsApp.. it finds them for you in the address book your iPhone contacts must have their phone numbers entered because this is what what’s app recognises them from It is explained well here faq.whatsapp.com/en/android/20970403/

Sorry Everton but I find that I am spending too much time on this just to send a one time video for a relatives birthday only to delete WattsApp after that :-)
Really appreciate your help.

Thats a shame - it is a great app. I use it to communicate with my son overseas who used an android phone and I have an iPhone.
It saves either of us using our phone data as it runs via wifi.
All the photos and videos we send to each other would cost a lot using messenger.
If you both use Dropbox you could send it that way
