I understand that programs will no longer be able to run Flash. Does anyone know of something to replace it. I use Adobe flash to run a jigsaw program that I 'd like to continue to play.
Thanks in advance for your advice.

Adobe announced this in July 2017 so this is not a surprise. The people who make the games have known for three years that they must rewrite them to use something else. If the game developers want people to continue to use their sites and their games then THEY have to do the change. Users cannot. Sorry but if the sites or games require Flash then they will cease to work. Adobe itself has said, “Flash-based content will be blocked from running in Adobe Flash Player after the EOL [end of life] Date,” There are no substitutes for Flash Player. The web site & game developers must create the changes themselves. The only thing I have seen that says it has backed up thousands of Flash based games is on the link below. I have no idea if your jigsaw puzzles are in that group or not. You will have to read the information for yourself. BlueMaxima's FlashPoint

Enabling Fla. Some of the games I play also have the same problem... I have clicked on that link and it takes me to "Server Not Found". That happens 90% of the time when I click on a redirected link from this form.. I must have some setting screw up. I also play games that use flash player on new "Edge". I don't know if the info below will help. The latest version of Chrome (ver. 76 and higher) includes enhanced security settings that must be configured to allow Flash to run. Kongregate recommends installing the "Supernova SWF Chrome Extension" for the best experience. Check out this article for specific steps. kong.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360031911432 I just click on "run adobe flash and in dropdown box click allow. I don't know how it will work on your browser but on mine it does the trick.. Well, at least until Dec. 2020 when it's suppose to end.

Not sure why the link didn't work for you. I tried it on Firefox, Opera, Vivaldi and Edge and it worked on all of them.
I'm pretty sure this is the case for all popular browsers today, at least the ones I use on a regular basis.

Thanks Judy.
Sorry it took so long to respond, I've been busy with a lot of problems with my Windows 10 desktop. I'm going to replace it and I will post a separate post with some questions about the new computer when it comes.
Again, Thank you, Mary

I downloaded BlueMaxima's Flashpoint and this is the windows warning I got. I'm just not going to open or use it, just thought I'd post the warning.
"Windows protected your PC Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk. More info"

"Windows protected your PC Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk. More info" This is a standard message that appears whenever a non Microsoft App is detected by Smart Screen. If you click 'More Info" there will be the option to "Install anyway"
From what I have read Blue Maxima seems quite reliable but I have not experimented with it myself. Maybe someone that has could advise.
If you are getting a new computer you may want to wait until you get it and then try Blue Maxima on your old one first to test it out.
