Libre Office Version 7 is available for download. Go to Help/Check for Updates on you current version to get the direct link to the download.
I installed without uninstalling my old version. First Open was in its safe mode with the option use your previous settings, reconfigure, or go to factory settings.
Is working just fine and is blindingly fast !
