According to "askbobrankin", Kaspersky anti-virus now has a free version available for downloading. I know that Kaspersky has been highly rated for a long time but I don't know how safe because Kaspersky has been linked to the Russian Government even though Mr. Kaspersky denies it. askbobrankin.com |

I agree with Judy. I wouldn't touch any Russian software with a very long pole.
I think it's pretty suspicious that Kaspersky has suddenly released a free version.
