I have been an avid user of Classic Shell, now called Open Shell for a few years now and much prefer it to Windows Tiles. This morning my desktop reverted to Tiles view for no apparent reason and the only way I could get back to Open Shell was to reinstall it.
Anyone else had this happen?

Yes, I had that happen several months back too. Only happened once though with some Windows 10 updates it seemed to not be working because the tiles re-appeared. But a simple reboot straightened that out. |

OK. I never thought of rebooting. That would probably have solved it!

Reboot should always be step number one for a problem that suddenly appears. |
