The next release of Windows 10 is now available. It will be available through regular update channels real soon. If you want a jump start check out the link below. There is nothing exciting in the update. If you are up to date on your updates you probably already have the new features already installed. They just have not been activated. This update will activate them. I have been running this update as an "insider" (beta tester) and have not had any problems with it.

Last weekend I updated my computers to the May 2021 update> New version is now 21H1 Build 19043.985. I updated using the update now link at the following link. www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10Update went smooth with no problems, it did take a little longer than I expected but the updates were successful and that's what counts. This AM I fired up my laptop and found the option update to 21H1 (May 2021 Update) was available to download and install. I started the update and left to refill my coffee cup. I came to the computer 3 minutes later to a click here to restart the computer button. Clicked the button, the laptop restarted and update was finished. A whole lot faster process than above.

Sure was fast. Even with my slow connection less than 5 minutes to download and install and then another 6 for the restart. Just a reminder to those that have not yet installed this update - it will not arrive automatically, you need to manually check for updates in settings. There will be a forced update only when your current version is close to the end-of-support date.
