I had a thread on WS about the difficulty I have had with updating my desktop to the Creators Update. I have basically given up trying and have now had my suspicions confirmed by my monthly magazine. A lot of Intel CPU's are not compatible with the Update and probably never will be, so my choice now is to live with an out of date OS or try to upgrade my processor or to buy a new computer. EDIT: I keep seeing this message when clicking on 'Create Thread'.....any ideas?

This is all I could find and its old but looks like just someting to put up with for the convenience of having the Recent Threads sidebar (which I find quite useful) support.proboards.com/thread/516694

Thanks Eve. Two years old, well they obviously have not gotten a fix for it. Though wonder if removing some of those Recent Thread notifications from that sidebar corrects things? I only mention this because the number listed I see had grown to a huge number and I found that distracting. When I checked many of those listed were not recent. I removed all but one and have not gotten that message again.

I had only 5 items on mine. I have removed two. Took a couple of attempts - until realized had to click on the reset key. Maybe that is the solution for avoiding the pop up. My last post was done without noticing your previous one - sorry !

My last post was done without noticing your previous one - sorry ! No apology needed. When I reset mine there actually were around 10 and some of those "recent" ones had been there since the day the forum opened! I removed all of those and that certainly helped. I now have 5 listed there.

Just received following reply to my thread, The Current Thread Numbers Do Not Match. From ProBoards Admin Brian Ordonez;
The plug in mentioned is Recently Updated Threads Sidebar. I have no idea how to contact the plugin developer or even who it may be. Version installed here is Version 0.3.3 Beta.
