Adblockplus cannot remove from site
I went in adblockplus and put a site on the whitelisted web site list. But on that site it keeps saying I can not look up my information till I turn off the adblocker. What else do I need to do so the ad blocker doesn't affect that site? Thanks for any help Char

What is the address of the web site? It would help if we knew what it is and see if it is possible to use it. If so then precise instructions can be given.

It is equitable.com which is an insurance, annuity company. Their tec told me how to shut adblocks off, but that effects all adblock sites, which defeats the purpose. I could bring up the site, but when I wanted personal information it gave me the message I needed to turn off adblockplus. Hope this helps Char

You may have to turn it off for that specific site. Is this a new site to you?
What browser are you using? It might not be AdBlockPlus but another extension on your browser, especially since you have already whitelisted through AdBlockPlus. You need to let us know what browser you are using in order to advise.

Judy using Firefox I had also white listed this site, but I get the note to disconnect ad blocker when I came here. This isn't a new site for me, but don't go there often. Char

Char when you get this message do you also get a Continue button like the one shown in my first attachment?
If you do have you ever clicked it? If not then DO click it.
When you do you get what is shown in my 2nd attachment.
If so, don't disable AdBlock, just click the Continue to site button. That should take you to the site and also disable AdBlockPlus while you are there. I have several sites I visit where I have to follow this procedure. No worries, as soon as I leave the site then AdBlockPlus is re-enabled again.
Let me know if this works.

After you have accessed the site and whitelisted it, with the site still open click on the Shield icon to the left of the address bar in Firefox. If it shows "Enhanced tracking protection is enabled for this site" , disable it by toggling it off.

Have you rebooted? You could try uninstalling AdBlock and reinstall and see if that cures the problem.

Sorry I haven't been able to get back sooner. After my last reply a few other problems have cropped up that had to take priority. I had spent part of yesterday & today retrying everything I could think of on this.
Everton's (the Shield icon to the left of the address bar in Firefox. If it shows "Enhanced tracking protection is enabled for this site" , disable it by toggling it off.) Seems to have worked on the Insurance site tonight.
Judy I don't think I had the option to continue. Mr Bill your suggestion was my last resort. It is getting late and my mind has been trying to work on a number of things all evening.
Didn't see Mr Bills note till I came on this site to see if it was still giving me the add blocker message, which it was.
Will try in the morning when I'm fresh to check both sites again. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your help and patience's with me. You know the saying if you don't use it you loose it? Well my remembering things on the computer has really lessened in the last year and it is really frustrating. (plus makes me feel stupid) Will try and checks things out again in the morning to see if things are working . Thanks Char

Glad all appears to be fixed. It absolutely helps others who may have the same problems if the original poster comes back and reports what did and didn't work.
