As I'm sure you have heard the release of Windows 11 is right around the corner. Microsoft has announced Windows 11 will be released on October 5, 2021. Is your computer ready and compatible? A quick way to find out is to download and run a program called WhyNotWin11. You can download the program at github.com/rcmaehl/WhyNotWin11. The program does nor require installation. I have attached the results I received when I ran it on one of my computers. Note that this computer met all the WIndows 11 requirement except for the CPU Compatibly Test. At the time I ran this the computer had a AMD A8-9600 A-Series CPU in it which was not on the approved CPU list. This AM I replaced the A8-9600 CPU with a Ryzen 7 3700X CPU and now this computer meets all of the Windows 11 requirements.
I now have the three Windows computers I use fully Windows 11 compatible. My two laptops and and my wife's computer will remain on Windows 10 until they get replaced or converted to Linux.
Later I will post what I had to do to get the 3 computers Windows 11 ready Attachments:

After running WhyNotWin11 I know my two computers are not ready for Windows 11 and since the official "retirement date" for Windows 10 is given by Microsoft as Oct 14, 2025 I am perfectly willing to wait until after that time. I am very happy with 10, I have at least 4 more years of support so why spend money or "jump through hoops" to switch? I will not.

The Boot Method, Disk Partition and Secure Boot problems would all be fixed thru the MBR2GPT process. The CPU Compatibility problem would require a CPU replacement which can be expensive. I spent a little over $300 for CPU I bought. It was a previously planned upgrade that was to take in a couple months from now. However, a local computer store had the CPU on sale this weekend ($40.00 off) so I bought it and installed this AM. Very happy with performance improvements that resulted from the upgrade.

I will stick with what I have. One computer is 5+ years old and the other 4+ so I will wait.

If I was you, I'd wait too.
