The Dell laptop which is less than a year old is showing almost full with very little actually stored there.I believe that this caused by Dell Recovery constantly backing up the contents of the SSD to itself. How do I get rid of this bloat and recover disk space. Sorry if this sounds a bit garbled but it's early in the morning here and I'm posting this from my cell phone.

Problem sorted due to Dell Support Guidance. Had to delete all system recovery points. I now have 56GB free space instead of less than 2GB.

Is this the only hard drive? How big is it and how much space remains?

The SSD is 128GB and only had about 5 GB left before I deleted all the System Recovery points. Apparently Dell System Recovery app runs several times a day and stores everything on the SSD. Any idea how to uninstall the Dell Recovery app?

You should be able to uninstall it via Control Panel> Programs and Features

Your specs show a 1.8 TB HD. And you only had 2 GB left before you sorted it out. What do you have on that HD to take up that much space?

You say you now have 56GB free space remaining. On a 1.8TB drive that is not much either. How much space is remaining on the other HD that your specs say is 118GB

Sorry for the confusion.
