Judy I just d/l Ccleaner I haven't used it in a long time so I just ran it like it was I lost all my passwords will you please tell me which blocks to check I forgot thankfully I had all my passwords saved. thanks Jerry

Not sure what you mean Jerry when you say you lost all of your passwords. CCleaner doesn't remove passwords. Do you mean that you had certain web sites where you always stayed logged in but when you used CCleaner you ended up being logged out so you had to log in again? If this is the case then when you run CCleaner cookies are removed and of course that includes the cookies that help keep you logged in on a site. If that is the case then if you go to options and select 'cookies you want to keep' then you can whitelist cookies you don't want ccleaner to delete when cleaning.

You can also remove the checkmark next to Cookies for all of your browsers then you won't have to worry about losing the cookies you need to log into web sites. Cookies really don't take up much room. I don't remove cookies unless I have a problem with a web site. Then I go into that browser and remove them from that particular browser manually.
