I was thinking it would be swell to read my texts on my computer which I still prefer over using the phone for everything.
I see at least 2 pre-installed apps available on the PC that seem to be what I need. One is called Your Phone, the other is a setting I guess. It says link your phone. I also saw something called Phone Companion.
Does anyone else have their phone linked to their computer? Which app do you use and is this safe as far as security goes?

If you have an android phone, not an iphone, I think it can be done with Windows 10 computer as both apps you mention are for Android phones only. I have an iPhone so I've never tried it but here's a link that tells you how to do it with an Android phone only. Also as noted on the 2nd link; Phone App link and requirements
