Is the new Performance Optimizer safe to use? Why do you feel you need it? Are you having problems with your computer? Give us your computer specs and tell us exactly why you think you need to purchase this. You do know it isn't free correct? |

I am not having any problems at this time. I just noticed it in the free version of CCleaner update.

You can try it for free but after 30 days you have to puchase CCleaner Pro for $29.95. Things like this are unneeded really. I don't even use CCleaner any more, never put it on my new laptop and removed it quite awhile ago from my other laptop too. On both laptops I just use the built in Disk Cleaner...Occasionally, very occasionally.
Windows can remove junk files, clear Internet browsing traces, and defragment your hard drive without installing additional software.

Thank you for your recommendation. I will have to think about this. I have used CCleaner for many years with no problems; just come here for answers when it adds new programs.
