Hello everyone:
Let me be one of the first ones to say thank you for continuing a fantastic service. We all need some advice sooner than later. I hope all the good people who advised us so greatly will come on board here at New World Tech.
Since my last post at World Start, I have had many things happen in the technical field.
As I said in my last post, I had a bad virus and did the remove power instantly before I touched anything, then it went away! Quite a while later, it came up again! This time I did the same thing and also, as the computer was beginning to run slower than I am used to, did a restore to factory specs. This is a wonderful feature in Win 10 and others. It puts the computer back to factory specs!
With good results, I was very happy with it. Next, I thought it was time for a good cleaning as it was about 2 years or a little more since new. It needed a good cleaning! Removed the Processor Chip and cleaned the fins etc. While attempting to reinstall, somehow, I damaged the small bed of tiny pins! Dead MB! Installed a new one which is what I am on now. Works perfect. However, before I knew if it would work or not, I bought a new Cyber Power Gamers computer which is still in the carton! Haven't had time to set it up. This one is doing great so I have plenty of time.
Again let me say congratulation to everyone involved in setting up this board. I hope to use it occasionally.
