My family used to holiday there every year for a month when my brother and I were about the same age as Izzy is now. I have a picture somewhere of me on the Crocodile Rock many moons ago.

Neat pictures, thanks for sharing them. I've never been to the beach, is all I have around me is corn and bean fields.

That is a shame. Nowhere in the UK is further than 80 miles from the sea, so a trip to the beach is less than an hour away for me.

I can honestly not imagine living so far away from the coast. In BigBarneys and my 'island' homes I guess we take Being close to the coast for granted. I can see the sea from my window. I Need to appreciate it more

I can honestly not imagine living so far away from the coast. In BigBarneys and my 'island' homes I guess we take Being close to the coast for granted. I can see the sea from my window. I Need to appreciate it more I absolutely LOVE the sea. But, since I live roughly 600 miles from the Atlantic Ocean...I just have to wait until I can take a day to drive there. But I love it! If I had the cash I would move there for sure. I noticed the beaches in U.K. countries all seem to be very rocky...small rocks where you walk to the water. Most of ours are covered with sand so you can walk barefooted if you want and not hurt your feet. Our ocean water is very warm down south, but not farther north. I don't go in the water much anymore so I don't care what the temp might be, I just want to be there.

We've watched quite a few TV shows filmed in New Zealand the last few years and have seen a lot of the beaches and they do look lovely, just like ones I would love to visit. You're so lucky.
