About 12-18 months ago, a big push for this same method of speeding up your computer. Not sure if it's the same company but the method is the same. A free copy of Linux on a stick and for only $25.

Very interesting reading! A scam but not a scam. Linux?. . . Who knew?🤔 Sorry Barney, have to disagree there really cannot be something that is a "scam but not a scam." It is either a scam or not a scam and this one IS a scam. They are selling a 4GB flash drive for roughly 5 times the usual cost + shipping costs (so a lot more than the $25 they claim) and it contains a Free open source operating system that anyone can download. They claim this is a "clever new device" It is not. They say it "recently hit the market". It is not recent, it has been marketed for over two years at least. The link posted by Everton spells it all out clearly. This is 100% a total Scam and Rip-Off. Even the FB page they link Top 10 Tech Gadgets 2017 to show you the rave reviews of this piece of junk is filled with false statements and it only touts 3 items. The other 7 must have sold out. Everton said it all " if these offers sound too good the be true they usually are." It is a scam no doubt about it.

I realise 100% that this is a scam. I used the words 'scam but not a scam' based on these words from Evertons link "Let’s get one detail straight. Xtra-PC and the company behind it are legit. I won’t call what they do a scam but more a dishonest business. They use people’s ignorance to sell something that they can get for free."
