I've never gone to MR, didn't know I had it. I did finally find it in C:programs. Only option I could find for it was 'delete' so that's what I did.
Puter still shows ver 1511. It did finish an install and I rebooted. I'll go thru updates again.
By web links I meant when you do a search using the magnifying glass in bottom left it only showed web links, nothing on my puter.

DICK Have you checked for more updates? You obviously have at least two that are needed and that would be the two additional versions since 1511 was released. Along with those will be a multitude of others that can't be installed until the additional versions are installed. You need to check again for updates, you have a lot more you need. |

I checked for updates and found the below. BUT, no place to click to download. Where else can I find the downloads. (I'm obviously doing something wrong). Attachments:

It looks like it did the update!!!! Will I still need this: "Windows Update Assistant"? Puter is still restarting on & off. Attachments:

Today MS released the Creators Update which when installed will bring the version to 1709 Build 16299.15. If the latest version does not appear in Windows update it will sometime down the road. However, if you want it now you can use the Windows Update Assistant to get it now. You can also use the Media Creation Tool to install it now or to create an Flash Drive or DVD install disk for later use. Re: Puter is still restarting on & off. -- Can you expand on this problem or better yet start a new thread as this is a different issue |
