Does anyone using MailWasher free version have the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update installed?
I have a problem I just want to warn people about.
Maybe it will not affect everyone.
Since the Windows upgrade as soon as I click on MailWasher to open it a blue screen appears saying "Ooops, there is an error and we need to collect some information and restart Windows. Windows will restart in 40 seconds" (or words to that effect)
Then is goes ahead and restarts, with Mailwasher remaining closed. As soon as I attempt to open it again the same thing happens.
This, so far, is the the only program that causes the blue screen, but I have not tried to open every one I have.
My pc is running just fine after the upgrade apart from this glitch.
I have been using MailWasher with no problems for 4 weeks only and can live without it so will uninstall it for now.

I use MailWasher Pro and am not having any problems after the Fall Creators Update. Seeing that you uninstalled it (or plan to uninstall it), I would do a fresh download and reinstall the program to see if it cures the problem. If that does not work, send an email to support detailing the problem. I have found their support to be excellent in the past. A great product and great company to work with.

I may try that I started to download a fresh copy after uninstalling and noticed that it is the same version I had installed which worked properly before so I will attempt reinstalling that first.

I used Mailwasher years ago when my email client was computer based. Now I use my ISP email, everything is server based with a built in spam filter which works extremely well. Result? I get very little spam and if I do, the filter 'learns' and blocks any future messages.

I use Thunderbird and my small user friendly ISP does a good job filtering the junk. I tried Mailwasher once before. Decided to give it another try after a spate of spam a few weeks back.
