A new 'miracle' av is being touted on the internet (stangely as the best AV of 2018 - did I miss a year?)
Anyway it seems remarkably similar to Scan Guard which was discussed on this forum newworldtech.freeforums.net/thread/252/scan-gaurd
Not only does the interface look similar, this new one also offers 'affiliates' $70 per sale as Scan Guard does. That in itself makes no sense if it is as claimed a 'free' program.
Of course it is not - it downloads free and the you pay for the privilege of removing the nasties it finds.
My advice would be to leave well alone - it is a scam and if anything like the other one once it is on your system it is extremely hard to get rid of.
It sounds too good to be true because it is.
