Hello everyone I have a question Since my firefox updated to 57.0.1 a lot of the sites I try to go to I get this How do I fix it Please.Jerry JavaScript Required What is JavaScript? As you see it IS enabled by default on all versions of Firefox. Since yours won't run javascript then that means that YOU have disabled it by using either or both of these add-ons, Ghostery or NoScript. If so then you have to go into either or both and allow javascript to be used on a site-by-site basis for each one you visit where you get this message. Most pages today DO use Javascript as the info from Mozilla says, it is a standard programming language. Turning off javascripts breaks many websites. There are a few people who believe that javascript is unsafe or have confused javascript and Java...they are NOT the same thing. Java is known to be very questionable and generally unsafe. Javascript is generally very safe. Read this information, all of it. www.howtogeek.com/138865/htg-explains-should-you-disable-javascript/

You're welcome Jerry. I know that there are some members here who firmly believe that javascript should not be allowed due to security reasons. I am not one of those people. But each person is certainly entitled to use his or her computer and surf the internet as they choose.
