Like the others, I use gmail daily and have not seen any changes, ever, really. Can you describe the changes you seem to be having?

I don't know how the poster even found that 4 year old link. I tried and could not get it at all. IF any of us did not like whatever changes were made four years ago we all obviously have gotten used to them and don't remember what they were because none of us recall them. Since it took three days for the poster to come back and only give a four year old link but not actually ask a question I have to feel that IF there really is a question it is not very important. |

You have not told us what problems YOU are having with gmail. That is what we need to know in order to be able to offer some sort of help or advice. It has been 13 days since you first posted this problem and we still know absolutely nothing about your computer, what operating system you have, what browser you are using, if you are accessing gmail via a browser or some sort of email program. Changes that you linked happened 4 years ago, have you been having problems for 4 years? If not then how long? And please spell out exactly what problems you are having. Everybody here who has responded would be most happy to offer assistance if we knew exactly what problems you are having. Others who have not responded but regularly do offer help have not responded because they don't know exactly what problems you are having, if they knew then there would likely be eight or more people ready and willing to offer help F.Y.I. I did do as you asked, I googled gmail problems...Sure there were problems listed, gmail is down, gmail won't load, can't sign into gmail, gmail won't send, gmail won't check for new mail, gmail formatting doesn't work, gmail will not accept attachments, gmail will not open attachments and on and on...BUT...problems listed had dates from 2013 to 2017 and the bulk of them are do to the users computer, browser, email program and even internet connection. The problems generally were/are not caused by gmail itself. So which problem are you having, how long have you been having it? But I also found, as noted, gmail has not changed since July, 2013. 4 and 1/2 years ago so whatever problem you are having, unless you have been having it for 4 and 1/2 years, is not caused by changes made to gmail by gmail. |

I use gmail, I use yahoo mail, plus a local ISP mail. None are perfect. GMail has not caused me any problems, and I have not been upset by any changes if there have been any.
If I was upset by any changes I would ask for help OR stop using Gmail - simple really. No one is being forced to use Gmail. It is a free service and the solution is to take it for what is is or leave it.
Complaining about vague unidentified changes will not solve anything.
