Why did you begin a brand new thread instead of posting logs in your original thread? The rules in all forums are logs must be posted in the original threads and multiple threads for the same problem and not allowed or recommended.

Creating multiple threads for the same problem makes it nearly impossible for helpers to follow the progress and truly help clean up the computer or offer fixes for whatever problem the poster is asking help to fix.

It also is unfair for the many other people who read the threads to follow along and possibly get help for their own problems.

You are not following the directions correctly on the Preliminary Cleanup steps. You have to follow instructions for each program exactly. On your CCleaner run you posted the Analysis Log which was not requested. CCleaner logs are not requested anywhere in the Preliminary Cleanup instructions. What you should have done once the analysis was complete was follow the final steps for CCleaner as given in our Preliminary Cleanup Steps:

Since you did not say if you did this or not then we have to presume that you did not finish using CCleaner correctly.

The Malwarebytes' instructions do not say to "copy and paste the quarantine". The instructions say, copy/paste the LOG that is created once the program has cleaned.

The AdwCleaner logs appear to show that you are only following Part One of the instructions....SCAN. You ran the program twice 10 hours apart and both logs are incomplete because they stop with Tasks. There are multiple sections after Tasks which show results of the Registry and Browser scans for all the browsers installed on the computer. Yours do not show those and they do not show the final notation at the very bottom of either log which shows the number of times and dates when AdwCleaner has been used and if used completely and would look similar to this;




If you had followed the instructions the top portion of the log would have said in the Mode listing: Clean. It is the Clean log needed that appears automatically immediately after AdwCleaner reboots the computer, which is required for AdwCleaner to complete the cleaning. If you had posted that totally then the second log wouldn't have been posted. Instructions say this:

1st step is Scan. Once the scan is complete it shows you what has been found. It does also produce the log that you have posted but the instructions do not say to post that scan log. The instructions say this:

Note it says post the log produced when the reboot shows you the log. It will pop up on the screen. It IS contained within the program and I need to see that. Open the program, go to Tools, Logs. Find the log from the CLEAN done sometime after noon on March 1. You may have to open several to find that correct log. It must say CLEAN not SCAN.


Please post the log produced after AdwCleaner has cleaned. Also please post the Malwarebytes' log, NOT the quarantine. There is no way to post the quarantine.

Please do NOT post the logs requested here and do NOT use this thread again. Please post these logs in your ORIGINAL thread that I have linked above in this reply.
