I sometimes receive double and/or triple posts in my inbox about threads or posts being made in the different forums here, and was just wondering why. No problem, but was just wondering.
Does anyone else have this happen?

I have had this happen occasionally but not often. Several times I believe it was actually the fault of gmail and not the forum. The email notifications and how they arrive are not controlled by us but by ProBoards themselves. From what I have read on their Development Blog this is not an easy thing to completely regulate but they try. I know they had an outage several weeks ago for all their forums because of a problem with their email server but that was fixed within 24 hours I believe.
You might try setting your notification preferences a little differently and see if that makes a difference.

Thanks for the reply Judy. I don't really let it bother me, just delete and go on about my business.

Thanks for the reply Judy. I don't really let it bother me, just delete and go on about my business. You're welcome. I do the same. I really don't know exactly how these work. I just received a notification for a thread that was posted before this one. So who knows. They don't really seem to have good explanations at the Pro Boards Support Center so I don't worry about them. If people are really bothered by the sporadic odd deliveries then they actually can elect not to receive notifications all together, though that is something I sure don't want to do. As you say, I don't let it bother me and it is easy to hit delete.
