How do you get back to the free version of Malwarebytes from the trial version?

How do you get back to the free version of Malwarebytes from the trial version? First of all be sure that you use the Free Version Download button. Then as the download information page states; It Does do this automatically but if you would prefer not to wait the 14 days you can turn off the full program options and keep only the scanner portion. To do this do the following: Go to Settings and turn OFF everything that is turned on under Application Tab. Go then to Protection Tab and make sure everything there is turned off with the exception of Scan for Rootkits and Scan in Archives. Otherwise all else should be turned off. |

You can also go to settings > Account Details > Click Deactivate Button

You can also go to settings > Account Details > Click Deactivate Button Glad you posted that budgall. Since I have had the Free version "forever" I don't have a Deactivate Button and could only post what I have that should be turned off. Be sure to check those and be sure they are turned off cause there are parts of the paid program that may still boot up when the computer is booted. Can't do anything but may run in the background. |
