Firefox is my browser and I search with DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials. When I attempt to view weekly ads I receive the following message: Oops! This content is blocked by your browser's private browsing or ad blocking. To view this content, please exit private browsing or disable ad blocking for this site." I disabled Adblock Plus for the site but when I attempt to view the ad I receive the same message again. What more am I supposed to do?

The listing I bolded in your post, DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials, is an extra add-on for your browser that adds that extra blocking and why you are receiving that message. Go to Add-ons and uninstalll the DuckDuckGo Privacy Essential. This will NOT affect your ability to use DuckDuckGo Search engine. I had it for maybe 2 hours and found it nearly impossible to surf normally and I removed it.

I uninstalled DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials as instructed and continued to have the same problem. I then went to Firefox Privacy & Security settings and under Tracking Protection "Use Tracking Protection to Block Known Trackers" I changed my setting from "Always" to "Only in Private Windows". That seems to have solved my problems. Thank you your interest and jogging my mind to search further. Have a good day and a Happy Easter!
