Can someone recommend a free good anti- virus app for a Mac?

There are several that are excellent. I use Avira Free for my Windows 10. Avira has a highly regarded Free version for Mac's also; Free Avira for MacOthers here use Avast for their Windows computers. Avast also offers a well regarded version of Mac's; Avast Free for MacEither one would be a good choice. |

Thanks Judy for the info on anti-virus. I will get Avira for my Mac. I've used Avira on my windows computers for a long time and have had good luck with it. I didn't know they had it for the Mac.

Happy to help Chere. Not sure how long they've had Avira Free for Macs but several years at least. Like you, I'm a many year Avira user and have always had very good protection with it for sure. |
