No copyright infringement here? Mr. Handelsman's cartoons are hosted on the link Bonnie gave, The Advocate, in reply #4, which is his home newspaper in Baton Rouge, Lousiana. His cartoons all have social media buttons, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google + and others, meaning he is giving permission to the viewers to share his cartoons. Those buttons are an invitation to click and share with the link automatically leading back to the original source. NO copyright violation there of course. If there are no social media sharing buttons for the cartoon then you must contact the artist by email to receive permission. Most cartoonists will give permission, they want their work to be seen after all. Mr. Handeslman's animations are also hosted on Walt Handelsman youTube channel. You cannot copy/paste or attach the actual images to share without violating copyrights but you can share the link to the cartoon and then you are taken to the originating site and for Mr. Handelsman that is The Advocate. He also has his own website, Walt HandelsmanMr. Handelsman's cartoons appear in numerous news papers and magazines nationally and internationally and web sites and he has signed agreements with them to publish his cartoons and most all of those websites have the sharing buttons, meaning he has given permission to share from those web sites also. Now for that orginal post of the animation via VEMBA I am not certain if that was/is a violation or not, it very well could be, I hadn't thought about that, had never heard of VEMBA until this post. Bonnie may have received that link in an email or something I don't know. Mr. Handelsman's copyright DOES show in the video on that link so he is covered, not sure though whether VEMBA has his permission. Checked for links with VEMBA and Walt Handelsman and found none. So for that link, I don't know. All the others are perfectly legal and there are NO copyright violations for them
