Hi I have a 23" HP Touchsmart desktop pc it's about 4 years old everything works fine just like always by the way it's a pc and screen combined about 3 weeks ago a thin black line is in the center of the screen from top to bottom and it just stays there it never goes away has anyone else ever had this problem.thanks Jerry

Never have had the problem. Have you checked this page on HP
Check on the section labeled Several colored horizontal or vertical lines in the display There are a lot of recommendations there, including a Factory Reset or Default of the monitor, updating your your video drivers. I'd recommend you begin there and see if any of the suggestions there help.
HP also does have a Support Forum where you might be able to find an answer too.
