Out of the blue, an email from sendgrid@msoffice.ml came to my inbox this afternoon, asking me to "renew my subscription."
To the best of my knowledge, I don't have a subscription with sendgrid@msoffice.ml -- although I have a paid-for copy of Office Professional (2010), which is still functional.
Does anyone know how to find out if this is a kind of scam or a kind of phishing? Any responses would be very welcome!

I am leaning towards this being a scam. Sendgrid is an email marketing company based in Denver, CO so it is a real company, doesn't mean it's legit but it is a real company. The one thing I find very odd is the email address...it is from msoffice.ml ml is the Internet country code for the country of Mali. Microsoft was created and is based in the U.S. I really doubt that it's mail comes from a 3rd party email marketing company with an email address based in Mali.
The attachment does not say renew Office 2010, it says renew MSOffice. They are not the same thing. Do you also have MSOffice installed?

I have OneNote, Outlook, Publisher, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint installed on my computer. These are Microsoft Office Professional - Office 365, aren't they? When I type MSOffice after pressing the Windows key, no option to select a program appears.
Whenever I see bad English in an email, I pretty much know that an email is a scam.

You originally said you have Office Professional (2010), that is not Office 365. Office 365 is an upgrade from Office Professional (2010) and it must be renewed and has an annual subscription price that is required unless the program is cancelled. The annual subscription price is $69.00 per year (or $6.99 per month) for ONE computer for home users or $99.00 per year (or $9.99 per month) for home users with up to 5 computers.
If Office 365 is actually what you have then you need to go to this page for renewal:
