When posting a reply there are several ways to do it. One of course is just click the Reply Button. The reply box opens and you type your reply. Once you're finished just click the Create Post button and your reply appears in the thread.
Sometimes you may wish to quote a reply made to you and then reply directly to that, especially when the thread is one that you created yourself and you have been asked questions by a person hoping to help you.
To do this, hit the Quote button on the upper right of that reply to you. The new reply box will open with the quoted text at the top enclosed in a box. You should create YOUR reply BELOW that quote box, NEVER within that quote box. It makes it too difficult for others to read your reply and very often actually miss your reply.
