I had to switch to Chrome from IE and would like to know how to get my non secure numbers (like on my library card) to show up on websites when I have typed them in once. I do not want the credit card numbers to show up-just other random numbers. Thank you.

I am not sure that is possible. You should check with your library to see if it is possible to do this. It may not be possible because of course the library card number is exclusive to the person holding that card. Nobody else will ever receive that number.
I can easily save my log in credentials, user name and password, to my local library but the library card numbers cannot be part of that log in information. Once I have logged in then my profile does contain my library card number and I don't have to type that in anywhere because if I am logged in the site of course already knows my card number.
Check with your library and see what they say.

I forgot to say that it was already permanently on chrome (the card number) but some update or cleaning of the computer erased it. So--I was hoping to get it back.

Oh, well then I don't know for sure. I have never used Chrome. General browser rules are what I can give you;
Is the library card number part of the log in? If so then there should be a box there that says "remember me" or something similar. Also check cookie settings in Chrome. You want it to remember 1st party cookies and block 3rd party. The 1st party would be the one that helps to remember sign in info and things like that card number. Also be sure that "delete cookies when browser closes" is NOT chosen. That erases those 1st party cookies. It has to do something with the cookies because those are the things that control things like this.
