Scotland has been on my wish list for a long time but I don't think I will get to fulfill that wish. I enjoyed your pictures of a breathtaking country side.

Absolutely gorgeous. I also LOVED the bagpipes. Was this some sort of competition or festival? I will go through all of these again and again. Thanks for sharing Barney.

Hi Judy This was Dornoch where Madonna got married some years ago. This was the local pipe band who play every Saturday night in the summer. We were lucky to be there for their last parade of the year. We also met with an old friend who lives there. We last met nearly 50 years ago!

Wow! That is just awesome. Did you plan to meet your old friend or was it just an accident?

Boy are you lucky,we don't even have phone directories anymore. I'm using one that is 8 years old for local calls.

A very nice set of photos Barney - looks like you had a lovely time. Congratulations on the 50th Anniversary. We have ours next year. Our youngest son lived in Pitlochry for a few months when he first came to the UK. Friends of his from NZ were managing one of the hotels. It may have been Atholl Palace, I'm not sure now. It looked like a castle.
