I think what is meant is notifications about replies to posts.
Click on Profile then Edit Profile then Notifications. There you can configure what you want to be notified about.

I think what is meant is notifications about replies to posts. Click on Profile then Edit Profile then Notifications. There you can configure what you want to be notified about. Thanks Eve, you got it right.

Sometimes it will be a day or 2 before you get the e-mail. If you have notifications set to instant then it will not take that long. Instant means just what it says. If you have it set to Smart then you will receive just 1 email for that notification type until you've visited the forum and checked the area(s) the notifications came from (such as a participated thread).
If you have it set to daily then you'll get 1 mail IF there has been a new thread or a post in a thread where you have participated. If neither has occurred then of course you will not receive any notifications.
Occasionally emails will not be sent or received due to server problems, yours or ProBoards. That cannot be helped or fixed.
