I have been using this website for years w/out issues. Out of the blue Friday I get the following msg
"Cookies are blocked. Cookies are blocked. We noticed your browser doesn’t allow cookies. To access Online Web Bill Pay, you must change your browser settings. After you complete your changes, close your browser, reopen it, and sign in again."
Bill payment is the only area of the website involved. I've checked my cookie settings, this website is allowed & 3rd party are never allowed.

It would help immensely if we knew the browser you are using. I have same difficulty with Firefox on my banking site. I even took my computer to the bank and met with their IT person to try to fix it and we never could get it fixed. So I use Edge on that site. If this is a new occurrence try clearing your browser cache and also clear out all the cookies for that particular site and try again. My banks Bill Pay pages are not managed by the bank but are managed by a 3rd party site. Is yours? You need to check this out too.

Yes I'm using FF also. This is a new issue for me. I just remembered my bank website was unavailable early (0200) this a.m. I will try Edge & post back the results.

Edge solved the problem, thanks Judy! You're welcome. Problems like this really are most common on banking sites for some reason. You can fight them or switch browsers for that one site...saves Lots of headaches.

FWIW I'm now using Avast Secure Browser for my bank and credit card sites, and nothing else. I have it set up so that those two sites are there waiting for me to log on when I open the browser, and I can set the security independent of my other browsers.

Why is Avast Secure Browser any more secure that Firefox or Google Chrome? They both label bank and credit card sites with https:// and label them secure?

Why is Avast Secure Browser any more secure that Firefox or Google Chrome? They both label bank and credit card sites with https:// and label them secure? www.avast.com/en-au/secure-browserOnce I decided I wanted a separate browser for financial sites, this one seemed logical as it has its own security features built in in addition to those offered by the websites. I just thought to suggest an alternative. I wasn't saying you should necessarily use it. Incidentally browsers don't "label" websites as https. That is purely a function of the website. If a site is https, it is that in IE, Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Avast, Maxthon, Pale Moon and any other obscure browser you care to name.
