Somehow my cat, which is laying on the desk between me and the keyboard, touched some key to decrease the text size, which is barely readable. how do I get it back to normal size?

One way is hold down on Ctrl key and tap the + sign to increase text size to your liking...... Another, if memory serves me, is to hold down on Ctrol key and tap the 0 key so text returns to original size.... at least that works in Safari on a MacBook Pro .... Can also look in your browsers View on toolbar....
