Update to prior post:
It appears that if you are running the Windows 10 April update (Build 1803) after today's update you will still be on Build 1803 and not yet updated to Build 1809. My second computer that had Build 1803 17134.376 on it prior to today's update only updated to Build 1803 17734.407.
If you are running Build 1709 you will update to Build 1709 16299.785
I find no info on when Builds 1803 or 1709 will update to Build 1809
Just found that Microsoft is starting to re-release the update to the October 2018 today. It sppears it is going to be released slowly and that MS recommends that you wait for it to be offered to your computer before installing it. In other words don't manually search for it using Windows Update.

Please Note as Budgall also noted above... WAIT to receive this automatically. Do NOT download it manually. It is being rolled out Very Slowly to be sure there are no problems. This is why it is ALWAYS recommended that users WAIT to receive the automatic update rather than download manually.
