I have an MSI gaming computer, Win 10, edge browser, avira security, Mbam, AntiSpyware etc. 1 tb hd.
Have had very few issues lately but for the past few weeks, when I am visiting a website and need to go to another page as they request by the small window, Read more, continue, or ?. The little circle starts but only a bland page shows. This happens on several sites and just happened on this site. However, after refreshing the page, it came up. Others didn't! I have ran all my virus programs, used CC cleaner, emptied the caches that associate with each one and others also. Some sites have no problems at all! They come up perfectly and allow going to their other pages with no difficulties at all!
Technology will get me yet!

There are any number of reasons that this can happen and it appears you have at least eliminated three of them, which is good!
Here are several other things you can try;
Since the problem IS corrected when you refresh the page you might try Disabling Hardware Acceleration;
Hold Windows key and press R
Type inetcpl.cpl and press Enter
Click Advanced Tab
Check Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering
Click Apply then ok
Restart Edge See if the problem still happens.
Disable Extensions
You can also see if it is an extension causing the problem by disabling all extensions installed on Edge. To do this do the following;
Open Edge
Click the 3 dots on the top right corner
Click Extensions
Click the extension that you want to disable
Click the switch under the name of the extension to turn it off
Repeat this for all the extensions
Then check to see if this fixes things. If it does then you will have to re-enable the extensions one at a time and see which one is causing the problem. When you find out which one then either remove it entirely or see if there is an update available for it.
Extensions that "could" be the culprit are these from Avira, all are Optional and certainly not required and frankly I find them useless: System Speed Up Safe Shopping Safe Search Plus Browser Safety Home Guard
None of those are required for the excellent Avira AV program to work well and offer superior protection and several of those have shown to cause some difficulties for some people. Some of those are sometimes installed without the user's knowledge so you might have them and not know it. With the security programs you noted then really none of those are needed. If you have any or all of them, uninstall them and see if the problem is fixed. Any or all of them CAN be reinstalled if you change your mind.

Thanks Judy, I was having problems getting back on this board. Finally made it and did the first suggestion you made. It seems to be working now. At least it brought up the one that I was not able to open before. If I find any others that don't open, I'll continue with the second suggestion. Thanks again. Keep up your fantastic work! Merry Christmas!

UPDATE: Sorry for the delay in getting the update posted. I am still not too sure what is causing the problem of not being able to bring up extra links to the pages! However, in my search, there are many more that have the same problem! Only one company PINTEREST has that problem. The first page comes up fine. then try to bring up an item listed as it goes to another page, then blinks on half a second then disappears! Don't think it is my computer after all!

If you are using Edge exclusively why not try an alternate browser to see if the problem persists. Then you will know if it is an edge problem or something more widespread.
