Personally I have never used another service to log into a site, I have been tempted but I have always been leery of doing this but never was sure why. This article told me why and I thought it could offer others the same information. Notice this applies not only to not using your Facebook credentials but also to Google, Twitter and many others.

An interesting read and good advice. It is not something I have ever done until recently when a new site I was trying to register with and log into would/could not accept my attempts. It is a very reputable site and I have since used the option of my FB account which I believe is as secure as I can make it . I have informed the site in question. When I had questions I was able to ‘chat’ with a site representative via FB which proved very helpful. It is definitely not something I would advise making a habit of especially after reading Leo’s article.

Nice to know, I was wondering about that type of logging into a site. Thanks.
