I have installed Tunnel Bear on my computer but before I go fumbling around to try and use it, I would like to know what it's purpose is. Is anyone familiar with this program?

Can I ask you a question? If you don't know what Tunnel Bear is and what its purpose is, why did you install it?

I was just curious - I'm going to uninstall it because it's too complicated for me and I also don't need it. Thanks for your information.

Good rule of thumb, never, ever install something on your computer without fully knowing what it is and what it is used for. Do that and you very often end up with major problems because it is something nasty. Follow Barney's advice and do a web search to find information BEFORE installing something.
By the way, Tunnel Bear is not a free service, you get a free 7 day trial but after that you have to pay $9.99 a month to use it.
