I don't know if this can be done. I have 2 pages I copied and printed many years ago---The background is black and the text is white. I would like to switch that so the text is black and the background is white I did some searching and all I found was about PDF stuff and photoshop.

So you don't actually have the documents saved on the computer? This was a scan of them? If so then this is an image of them not the actual document and you are going to have to find a way to save and convert them to an editable page. PDF is likely your best option in this case. IF the document is on the computer what type of document is it? Word, PDF, what?

These were pages copied directly from some website many years ago. I just now scanned and saved one copy as JPG and one as PDF so the PDF is now on ADOBE ACROBAT READER PC.. Next step do some searching and reading or grab my grandson next time he is in the area.

I emailed my grandson with the scanned pages attached He sent them converted back within minutes His narrative was The colors have been inverted (white to black, black to light-gray for contrast). An image (PNG) and PDF copy are attached.
He use to sell his Halloween candy the next day on the school bus---rent his play station cartridges on the bus.
His 2 years in community college the school paid him to tutor other students. When he went to the state university they wouldn't let him even tutor the other students. I think they felt threatened
His first job he was developing a new tracking system for FedEx. Then the company moved the whole operation 500 miles away and he didn't want to move.. Now he is doing something with coding a language learning program.

Why are you shouting? All of your text in this reply to bigbarney is giant and bolded which indicates you are shouting. He gave you two simple answers, one of which was to type a new copy and the next was actually a full posting of Special Characters — Alt Keyboard Sequences which is what you posted originally but this time without a black background. It is in color yes but the font is black.
I believe all bigbarney wanted to know is how he did it. No need to shout at him and nobody is doubting your word that your grandson did this for you. We just wondered how. Might help others who have the same problem.

It is a very simple task to invert the colours in a photo editor I am interested to know why you wanted this done - the lists are readily available to download - as Barney has already shown.

I didn't realize I was shouting--I only wanted to draw attention to what he said. This format is new to me and I didn't realize I had to make so it met with your approve. So I don't feel the need to apologize to Barney. If he feels that I shouted at him I feel it is his job to mention to me. So with that good-bye to this forum. I don't need to be critized by some one other then the person I was talking too.

Neither of us meant our posts as critcism. Large bolded fonts in any forum are considered shouting and is considered an angry post. I was merely asking why you were angry. Eve asked a very simple question, and showed it was easy to do the conversion. No criticism there either. This is a forum, anybody and everybody who is a member here is encouraged to answer a question that has been asked and if, in order to answer the question they have one of their own question it is perfectly acceptable and encouraged to ask that question. She asked why, she did not criticize. Sorry you don't like it here. All everyone was trying to do was help you accomplish what you wanted to accomplish.

I know it is hard to read with white on black. That is why I spent time at 1 am in the morning my time to help you out. Not that it took long - it was a 2 minute job but hey ho it was still 2 minutes wasted. By the time I got here with the result your grandson had already done it. Not a slow day for me at all - just a very late night. You came here for help and you received 3 replies. You got no criticism. Good night from me.

Thank you for the alt code link, I just replaced my alt code cheat sheet with one printed from your link. Much more complete than the one I had.
