Please recommend a 25” Monitor with the following features: LED VGA connectivity. (Or USB A if there is such connectivity) (No HDMI ports available on my computer and no USB C connections) Stand with Adjustable height (won’t need wall mount) It’s amazing how many new monitors aren’t out of the box connectable to my 5 year old Dell computer (Dell Precision T3610). Each time I think I found the right fit the monitor height can’t be adjusted or it’s an LCD or it comes only with the new USB C connections which my computer doesn’t have. I realize there are adapters for certain things, but I just want out of the box connectivity. Obviously, I’d like all the other features which make for a good monitor, but don’t need built in speakers (ok if there). I also have some open slots a bit larger than USB and smaller than HDMI and don't know what they are called or used for.
All recommendations (and links) would be appreciated. Thank you, Joel

You might try one of these from Amazon.
I realize you said you want "out of the box" connectivity but there is absolutely nothing difficult about using an adapter to connect something. You are only talking about one extra step, connect the adapter to the cord with the new monitor and then plug that into the computer. Adapters also are not expensive, generally less than $20. So don't limit yourself because using an adapter is just one minor additional step which is done BEFORE you attach to the computer. As you have found, limiting your choices to "out of the box" may very well limit your options AND maybe make the price you pay higher than you would prefer. So keep that adapter door open.

Thank you for your response. I'll look over your link items--compare features, consider what you said about adapters, and select what I think is best choice. Much appreciated. Joel
