Does any one know of an UPS Battery Backup & Surge Protector with a master enabler.. I have had an APC one for seven years and the master enabler part crapped out.
How a master enabler works you plug the power cord from the PC into the socket labelled MASTER and the things you want to controlled when the PC is shut off or on these things will automatically shut off or on into the sockets labelled "controlled by MASTER" when you turn the PC off or on. I have the monitor and the external hard drive plugged into that. APC doesn't make these anymore and I have searched for one without any luck
