I have used ClassicShell ever since Windows 10 came out. Even though it is no longer updated, it continues to work for me after all the latest massive Windows updates. Are there others who feel as I do that Windows 10, but with the look and feel of Windows 7 is preferable?

I use startisback, a shareware program (www.startisback.com) that coat $3.99 for 1 PC. It is updated frequently.I have been using it since the release of Windows 8.0. Like you I prefer the Windows 7 look & feel.

I quit using it when I went from Win 8 to Win 10. Nothing wrong with the start menu of Win 10.

I used to use Classic Shell but now I have my frequently used programs pinned to the task bar. Anything else I need to find I just hit the windows key and start typing its name- results are instant. (I find this a much more efficient way of accessing my 250 'installations'. I just checked in Revo how many I have and thats what it tells me.)
Since the Windows 10 search function improved with the October 2018 update (allowing further filtering within Apps, Documents, Settings photos etc in a menu along the top of the opening search window) I rarely have any need to even look at the Windows 10 start menu.

I have stuck with ClassicShell and have had no difficulties. I will stick with it until it quits working.
